HSN Code 3003 covers Medicaments (excluding Goods of Heading 3002, 3005 or 3006) Consisting of Two or More Constituents Which Have Been Mixed Together for Therapeutic or Prophylactic Uses, not Put Up in Measured Doses or in Forms or Packings for Retail Sale and attracts a GST rate of 12%. For intra-state supplies, this is split as 6% CGST + 6% SGST. For inter-state supplies, 12% IGST is charged.

- Include the HSN code 3003 on every GST invoice for medicaments (excluding goods of heading 3002, 3005 or 3006) consisting of two or more constituents which have been mixed together for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, not put up in measured doses or in forms or packings for retail sale
- Businesses with turnover above ₹5 crore must use 6-digit HSN codes
- Turnover between ₹1.5–5 crore: 4-digit codes are sufficient
